A broker in Phoenix talked me out of cheap enclosed shipping
I was dead set on enclosed transport for my 1967 Mustang from Phoenix to Seattle, figured it was the only safe way. Then a broker I called for a quote, guy named Rick, talked straight to me for 20 minutes. He said my car was stock height, no body kit, and open carriers secure frames just as well for a standard classic. He showed me photos of open haulers with Mustangs sitting in the same spots, strapped down the same way. The price difference was $1,850 for enclosed versus $1,100 for open, which got my attention. I went with open after checking the carrier's insurance and reviews. Car arrived in 6 days with zero scratches, and I saved $750. Has anyone else skipped enclosed after a broker gave them a solid reason?
