My hood liner saved my paint from a rock strike on I-70, but now I'm second guessing the install
Was driving back to Denver from Kansas City last month when a chunk of gravel flew off a flatbed and smacked the front of my hood. The liner took the hit and the paint under it is fine, but the edge peeled up about 2 inches near the latch. I pressed it back down with a heat gun and it held for now, but I keep picturing it lifting at 80 mph on the next road trip. Should I just replace that section or is there a glue that won't melt in the summer heat?
