Just dropped $300 on a proper scan tool for my personal box and it's already paid for itself diagnosing a weird EVAP code on my truck.
Has anyone else found a specific tool that was a total game changer for your side work?

Seriously though, the real game changer is finding old family photos you thought were lost. That scanner turned a shoebox of fading pictures into something my whole family can actually see now. Makes the whole thing feel way more personal than just copying documents.
