Hit 250 brake jobs today, surprised what actually fails

I keep a log of every brake job I do. Hit 250 today, been wrenching in Tucson for about 4 years. Thought calipers or rotors would be the main repeat offenders. Nope, it's the rubber hoses, 30% of my comebacks were soft hoses collapsing inside. Swelling from the inside, looks fine from outside. Now I squeeze every hose before I quote a job. Found 3 bad ones this week alone. Has anyone else noticed hoses failing more than calipers lately?

Been saying this for years and most guys just wave it off. Squeeze test takes two seconds and saves you a comeback every time. The inside of a hose can be falling apart while the outside looks brand new.
