Unpopular opinion: Our shop's apprentice fixed a fender with duct tape and said it was just for now. That was half a year ago.

Notice how the cheapest tools often last the longest. I've got a dollar store hammer that's seen more use than my expensive ones. Guess @the_terry found a roll of tape that defies the odds.
