Switched to a new clear coat on a 1998 Ford F-150 project

The hood went from a dull, patchy finish to a deep, even shine in just two days. The difference came from mixing the hardener at exactly 70 degrees in my shop, not the 60 degrees I used before. Has anyone else seen a big change from just getting the temperature right?

Always thought temperature was just a minor detail until now.

I read this article about how they keep server rooms cool. It said even a few degrees too warm can cut a computer's life in half. I mean, I knew heat was bad for electronics, but that's a huge drop. Makes you realize how much work goes into climate control for data centers. Maybe it's just me but I never gave it much thought before. Now I notice cooling fans everywhere.
