Bought a cheap paint gun from Harbor Freight and it cost me $300 in rework
The thing spit and sputtered halfway through a full hood job, leaving me with orange peel and runs everywhere. Anyone got a solid mid-range brand they actually trust?

What's your budget for a replacement?

It's the classic cheap tool tax. You see it everywhere, like buying a bargain bin phone charger that fries your port, or a store brand zipper that breaks in a week. The upfront price is tempting, but the hidden cost of fixing the mess always comes due. A decent mid-range tool might hurt the wallet once, but it saves the headache of doing the job twice.
