Why does nobody warn you about $400 HVAC tune-ups that do nothing?
I paid a company out in Marietta $389 for a "full system tune-up" two months ago and I swear my AC runs worse now. The guy was here maybe 25 minutes, sprayed some coil cleaner, checked a few readings on his phone, and handed me a sheet of paper with all green checkmarks. A week later my unit started short cycling. I called them back and they quoted me $1,200 for a part they said the tune-up should have caught. I pulled the receipt and realized the whole thing was basically a sales pitch to get in my door. My neighbor used a one man shop off Buford Highway and paid $75 for the same visit. So who do you all actually trust for HVAC work around here, because I am done with the big names.
