Tried a new HVAC filter service app and my unit froze up overnight
Booked a same-day AC tune-up through one of those local booking apps last week in Decatur, and the tech left my condenser in a state where the coils iced over by morning. Cost me $160 out of pocket to get a second company to unthaw and fix the refrigerant leak. Has anyone else had a bad experience with those online scheduling platforms for HVAC work?

Right, because a random app is definitely going to vet their techs better than actual licensing boards. Sounds like you paid for someone’s learning curve.
