The 15 foot gutter nail that made me question everything
For 3 summers I paid a handyman $250 each time to clean my gutters because I thought I was too scared of heights to do it myself. Last month I caught him using a leaf blower from the ground with a curved attachment he picked up at Home Depot for $60. I asked why he never told me and he just shrugged and said, "You never asked." Turns out my fear of ladders was never the problem, my lack of imagination was. Anyone else have a contractor keep a stupid simple fix secret from them just to keep the cash flowing?
