Shoutout to the old timer who told me about his 90s water heater

Ran into my neighbor Bill at Home Depot last week, he's been in his house since 1995 and said his original water heater finally gave out last month. Made me realize newer stuff might be more efficient but it sure ain't built to last 25 years like that old Rheem. Anyone else wish they still made appliances like they used to?

oh man, my parents had this old Kenmore fridge from like 1988 that just kept chugging along until a few years ago. idk what they put in those things but they were built like tanks. my new fridge has already had the ice maker break twice in like 4 years.

My 92 Whirlpool finally died last year but only after the icemaker went out three separate times.
