Remember when every deep space shot had that weird blue tint?
Honestly, I was looking at my old photos from the 2010s and they all have that same cold, fake blue look, especially my shots of the Orion Nebula. Tbh, I think we all just copied the processing style from the big space agency releases back then without thinking. Anyone else have old shots they need to go back and fix now that we know better?

My 2015 Horsehead Nebula pic was all electric blue and teal. I thought it looked so cool back then. After seeing what @victor_perry90 said about saturation, I tried a re-edit with way less blue and more subtle reds. It's a totally different, and honestly better, picture now.

Was it just the blue tint, or did we also crank the saturation way too high on those star colors? I've been redoing my old Andromeda shots and the difference is crazy, they look so much more natural now with just a softer touch on the sliders. It's like we were all trying to make space look like a neon sign back then!
