Amateur photo of Orion looks totally different now vs 4 years ago
I was going through old files and found a shot I took of Orion in 2021 with my old Canon T6 and a 70-300mm lens, no tracker. It was fuzzy, the stars were bloated, and you could barely see the nebula. Last month I tried again with a star tracker and the same lens, idk maybe it's the stacking software too, but the difference is crazy. Same target, same focal length, but the new one shows the dust lanes and even the Running Man. Has anyone else gone back to an old target and felt like you were looking at a completely different object?
