Guy at the dog park asked why I carry treats in two different pockets, and his answer made me rethink my whole setup
I was at the dog park off Riverside Drive on Saturday morning, and a guy noticed I keep kibble in my left pocket and freeze dried liver in my right. He asked why I split them up instead of just using one bag, and I said it was so my dog never knows which pocket pays out. He laughed and said he does the same thing but with three spots, because his trainer told him random spots keep a dog guessing and paying attention to you instead of the pouch. I tried it this week with a third pocket, and my girl has been checking in with me way more on walks. Has anyone else messed with where you keep treats to get your dog more focused on you?
