Cleaning out storage and found my cassette player. On one hand, streaming is convenient. On the other, tapes had a feel to them. Your opinion?

My friend still mixes tapes, says the hiss is comforting.

Oh man, I get that TOTALLY. The hiss on tapes is like a warm blanket for my ears. When I was stressed in college, I'd pop in an old mix tape and just listen to the hiss before the music even started. It somehow calmed my brain down better than silence ever could. Your friend is onto something REAL with that comfort.
