My old brush snapped right in the middle of cleaning a Roman coin from a dig in York...

It happened yesterday while I was working on a small hoard we found last month. I was trying to be gentle with a sestertius, and the wooden handle just gave way. Had to run to the supply tent and grab my spare, which is way too stiff for the job. Anyone have a good brand for soft-bristle brushes that won't break on you?

Actually, I prefer a stiff brush for that.

Honestly Logan I've used both kinds and the difference is pretty small. Unless you're doing some kind of professional detail work, a medium brush gets the job done just fine. People act like it's a life or death choice for your tools. It's just cleaning, it's not that serious.
