Just realized I've visited over 50 different dig sites across three continents. That number hit me when I was updating my field journal.

Count all those dig sites and you still haven't found a single decent place to get a burger. My field journal would just be a list of complaints about bad food and sunburn.

Right? The real field work struggle is finding a decent meal after a long day. My notes would just be full of bad coffee reviews and sand in everything.
