The feral hog that treed me in a live oak for 40 minutes and then just wandered off
I was limbing deadwood on a job outside Austin when a big boar came crashing out of the brush and I got up about 12 feet before my brain caught up with me. He sniffed around my rope bag for a bit, looked up once, and strolled away like he had better plans, so does anyone have a real trick for knowing if hogs are bedding down near a work site before you climb?
