Dropped $400 on a gas pole saw for storm cleanup and it sits in my garage now
Bought one after a bad ice storm in Knoxville two winters back, thinking I would clear all the hangers myself. Turns out the thing is heavy as a boat anchor over my head, and my old handsaw and a good pruner did 90 percent of the same work for a tenth of the price. If you are thinking about buying one for cleanup, what has actually worked for you when limbs are hung up high?
