Pro tip: pull the fridge out before you quote a sealed system job
Had a call in Mesa last month where the homeowner swore her 2016 Whirlpool was dead, and I almost quoted a compressor swap over the phone. Decided to drive out and pull the unit first instead, and found the condenser coils packed solid with dog hair and a bent fan blade rubbing the shroud. I picked the $180 coil clean and fan swap over a $900 sealed system job, and she sent me two neighbors the next week. Any of you still quoting sealed systems without laying hands on the back of the unit?
