That $12 clock radio turned out to be a 1969 transistor haul
I spotted it under a pile of old VHS tapes at a flea market in Des Moines, paid $12 because the dial glass was cracked. Got it home, opened the back to see if I could swap in a new speaker, and found a mint condition 1969 transistor radio board hidden in there with a hand-written repair note from someone's dad. Anyone else found something valuable stashed inside a broken antique, or is this just a weird one-off?
