Warning: dropped $45 on a bootleg figure at a con last weekend
I grabbed what looked like a legit 1/7 scale figure at a small booth in the back of Anime Expo for $45 cash, way under what it usually goes for. Got it home and the paint was sloppy, the base wobbled, and the box had no official sticker anywhere on it. How do you all spot fakes before you hand over cash, or do you just stick to known sellers?
