Rewatched Frieren after three months and noticed something wild

I first saw Frieren when it was airing and thought it was just a chill fantasy show. But I rewatched it last month and caught how much the animation subtly changes between her flashbacks and the present... the color palette gets muted in a way I missed the first time. Has anyone else picked up on little details like that after a second watch?
