Wired vs wireless sensors, 80% of my callbacks disappeared
Honestly, I ran a two year comparison on my own jobs around Austin, Texas. I used to install mostly wireless sensors because they were faster, but I kept getting false alarms and battery issues, maybe 3 or 4 callbacks a month. About 8 months ago I switched every new install to hardwired sensors, even though it takes an extra hour per house. The difference is night and day, I've had just one service call since then and that was a loose connection on my end. Has anyone else seen this big of a drop in trouble calls after ditching wireless, or am I just lucky with the newer wiring?

Wireless is just backup now, hardwire for the core, problem solved.
