My last job had a motion detector fail within 24 hours
On one hand, I could've missed a defect during pre-check. On the other, maybe the unit was just a lemon from the start. What's your take on where responsibility lies?

@betty_davis40 is onto something with the pre-check focus. Sometimes defects are buried deep and won't pop up during testing. It's tough to blame just one side when failures happen so fast.
