Spent 4 hours chasing a phantom avionics fault on a King Air

Turns out a single corroded pin in a cannon plug under the floor panel was dropping the signal. Ever had a simple connector cause a massive headache like that?

Watch it happen everywhere. A tiny bit of dirt in a phone charging port makes you think the battery is dead. One loose wire behind the TV and you're ready to buy a new one. We spend hours blaming the big, expensive system when the whole problem is a five cent connection nobody can see. Makes you wonder what else we're overcomplicating.

My friend was ready to replace his whole car stereo over a weird static sound. Tbh, it was just a single rusty ground wire under the dash. Felt pretty dumb after paying a mechanic fifty bucks to clean it.
