Why does nobody talk about using a 'temperature' setting of 0.2 for creative writing AIs?
I was getting super bland story ideas from my model for a month, but dropping the temp from the default 0.7 made it stop repeating cliches. Has anyone else found a sweet spot for different creative tasks?

Seems like you're overthinking the settings lol. It's just a number, not magic. My stuff still comes out weird no matter what I set it to.

Funny you mention that, because messing with the top-p setting along with temperature changed the game for me. A low temp around 0.3 with a high top-p, like 0.95, gives me weird but focused ideas instead of total nonsense. What model are you using for this?
