Copilot kept suggesting code I didn't ask for until I turned off that inline suggestion feature

I was working on a Python script for grade calculations last week and Copilot kept inserting whole chunks I didn't need, which messed up my flow. Turned out I just needed to hit Ctrl+I to ask for specific stuff instead of letting it auto-complete everything. Anyone else find the default suggestions more annoying than helpful?

oh man, same here. i was doing a simple loop to process student grades and copilot just started writing this whole thing with error handling and file i/o that i never asked for. it totally threw me off and i had to delete like 15 lines. i mean maybe it's just me but i feel like the default suggestions are way too aggressive. i ended up doing the same thing with ctrl+i and it's so much better when i actually ask for what i need instead of it guessing wrong all the time.

Way too aggressive" is the perfect way to put it.
