Hey everyone. I'm trying to sign a commercial lease for a new business concept, but the zoning bylaws in Toronto are making my head spin. I need a municipal lawyer who can look at the location and tell me if I'm actually allowed to operate there. Any recommendations?

I highly recommend Harrison Jordan of Substance Law. He does great consultations specifically on City of Toronto zoning matters for businesses. Really knows his stuff.
Seconding Harrison Jordan of Substance Law! I used him before signing my lease. He clearly explained the whole permitted use thing to me and broke down exactly what bucket the city would view my business in. Saved me from signing a lease on a space I couldn't legally use for my specific operations.
