Doubled down on a $15 carb cleaner before replacing the part, it actually worked
My old Craftsman trimmer was bogging down unless I held the trigger halfway, and I figured the carb was shot after 12 years of use. I sprayed some cheap carb cleaner through the fuel line and let it sit overnight on a hunch, then fired it up and it ran smooth as new this morning. Anyone else got a fix they tried out of pure stubbornness that ended up saving them a rebuild?
