Cheap paint rollers made my walls fuzzy and gross
I picked up some budget rollers for a quick paint job. They left little bits of lint all over the wet paint. Now I have to sand down and start over. It added hours to my project. Always check roller quality before you buy.

Respectfully disagree here, lunah. I've painted more rooms than I care to count over the years and the brand matters less than how you prep the roller. A cheap sleeve can be fixed by giving it a good wash with dish soap and warm water first. Let it dry completely and that fuzz problem goes away most of the time. It's the same logic as breaking in a new pair of boots before a long hike. You can spend extra money on the fancy ones, but a little elbow grease does the trick just as well.

Which store brand was it? I had that exact thing happen with some bargain ones from the big hardware chain, the orange one. The fuzz wasn't just on the surface, it got embedded in the paint layer and sealed in. It's not just about time, it ruins the whole finish permanently if you don't catch it. You have to look for the ones that say "no lint" or feel the sleeve material before you buy, the cheap ones feel like a fluffy towel.
