Yesterday, I finally understood why my roasts were uneven.

Honestly, moving the beans around more in my pan fixed it completely.

Funny how that works! I see this all the time with simple tasks, like when I forget to stir my homemade soup and the veggies at the bottom cook faster. It's a good reminder that most hands-on jobs need constant small adjustments. Paying that extra bit of attention really does turn out better results.

Come on, it's just soup. You can zone out for a minute and give it a stir later, it'll be fine. Not every little kitchen thing is some big lesson about focus. Sometimes a burnt carrot is just a burnt carrot.

Wait, are we really comparing stirring coffee beans to a serious hands on job here? It's just moving beans around in a pan, not performing surgery.
