Showerthought: I think the Bermuda Triangle stuff is mostly bad weather, not a mystery.
Everyone talks about ships and planes going missing, but I read the records and most have normal explanations like storms or human error. It feels like people want a spooky story so they ignore the simple answers. Am I crazy for not buying into the hype? lmao

The Bermuda Triangle stories stick around because mysteries sell better than weather reports. Every time I check the facts, storms or human error cover almost every case. Why do you think society clings to the supernatural version when the real one is right there?

Seriously, the simplest answer is usually the right one, but that's way less fun than a spooky vortex. Of course it's mostly storms and people getting lost, but "vanished into thin air" gets way more clicks than "got caught in bad weather and made a wrong turn.
