After years of digging, I uncovered a clue about the Franklin Expedition...
I've been researching the Franklin Expedition for ages, and I just found a sailor's diary online... It confirms they tried to reach help, but some sites are saying it's fake, so be careful where you look... Has anyone come across this diary or similar records?

Wow, another Franklin diary find? I swear, every time I blink there's a new "lost" journal popping up online. Half the time they're written in suspiciously modern English, like someone just watched a documentary and got inspired. I've spent hours down rabbit holes on forums only to find out the source was some guy's creative writing project. Still, if this one has any real details, it could be worth a look, but yeah, trust nothing until it's been picked apart by experts.

Gets tricky when fakes flood the scene because they muddy the water for actual research. Real clues get buried under all the noise, and you waste time chasing dead ends. It's why provenance and expert review are non negotiable.
