Trying to copy a cool font from a poster for my garage sign backfired
I printed the stencil upside down without noticing. Now my 'Tool Shed' looks like it says something in alien code.

Remember hearing about a guy who tried to stencil "garage" and did the same thing. His ended up looking like some secret club name instead. Seen a few backwards signs at flea markets too, always gives them a weird vibe. That kind of mistake is honestly way more common than people admit. Kind of gives your shed some character though, a funny story for anyone who notices.

Ever wonder if our brains just short-circuit when we trace letters? Like we're so focused on painting inside the lines that we forget words need to face outward to be read. It's that weird mirror-image blind spot, and you only see it when you step back with the paint drying. Makes that quiet moment of realization way too familiar.

Actually saw something about this in a documentary once. They said it's not really a short circuit, more like the brain gets the shape right but flips the direction because it's not processing the word as a whole yet. Makes sense when you're up close with a brush, you're just making curves and lines. That moment you step back is when the language part of your brain finally kicks in and goes "oh no.
