TIL that trying to make a custom font from my own handwriting took me 4 days, not 4 hours.

Oh man, four days is actually pretty quick! I tried that once and it took me over a week. The hardest part was getting letters like "a" and "g" to look consistent across different words. I had to re-write the whole alphabet like twenty times before the scanning software stopped making weird jagged lines. It's a fun project but way more detailed than it seems at first.

Honestly thought it would be a chill weekend thing until I tried it myself. Tbh seeing how much work goes into each letter totally changed my view. Ngl I got so mad at my lowercase e's looking different every time. It really makes you respect the fonts on your computer way more.
