Remember when phone reviews were just about the battery and camera?

I was looking at an old review of my first smartphone from 2012, and the whole thing was maybe 500 words. Now, a review for a new model covers screen refresh rates, chipset efficiency, and software update promises for years. It's a whole different world of detail. What's one feature you think gets way too much focus in reviews now?

My old flip phone just needed to survive a drop.

The obsession with screen brightness measured in nits is out of control. I just need to see my phone at the park, not use it to signal planes.
