Honestly, my phone's battery life test turned into a whole weekend thing

Ngl, I decided to really test my new phone's battery last Saturday. I charged it to 100% at 8 AM and just used it like normal, no special power saving modes. I streamed a 2 hour movie, scrolled social media, used GPS for about 45 minutes, and took a bunch of photos. By 10 PM, it was still at 32%. I was impressed, but then I forgot to plug it in overnight. Woke up Sunday and it was still on at 11%. That standby drain was way less than my old phone. It finally died around 2 PM Sunday, so I got a solid 30 hours of mixed use. Has anyone else done a real world battery test like that, or do you just trust the advertised specs?

That's actually a pretty solid result (and way better than my old phone would have done). I've done similar tests before, just out of curiosity.
