Finally got that stubborn lacquer blush to clear up on a dresser

It happened on a humid afternoon last week, and I was ready to strip the whole piece. Ended up lightly sanding with 320 grit and applying a coat of retarder, which did the trick. Anyone have a go-to method for dealing with blush in high humidity?

Ever try a hair dryer on low heat before you sand?

Oh man, that "ready to strip the whole piece" feeling is way too real lol. I've been there so many times, just staring at a cloudy finish ready to give up. Your method sounds solid though, glad the retarder worked out. Humidity is the worst for this stuff.
