Vent: My brother-in-law said my 'emergency fund' was just a fancy savings account
He's a plumber who runs his own van, and he told me his rule is to keep $5k cash in a lockbox, not the bank, for when a job goes bad. It hit different because last month my main client paid 60 days late and I had to put groceries on a card. Anyone else keep physical cash for client no-pays?
