Just realized I've sent 150 'intro' emails this month and only got 3 replies

That's a 2% response rate, which feels like shouting into a void. Anyone else's cold outreach numbers this brutal lately?

Man, that's rough. I was doing some email stuff for my own thing last year and it felt exactly like that. The inbox is just a black hole now. I started getting way more replies when I stopped sending those generic "just checking in" templates and made each one about a specific problem I could actually solve for them. Took forever but the numbers got better. Still a grind though.

Yeah my buddy had that same problem with his consulting emails. He was sending out like fifty a week and getting crickets. Then he saw one client mention a broken workflow on LinkedIn, so his next email was just three bullet points on how to fix that exact thing. Got a meeting booked in two hours. Totally changed how he writes everything now.
