Hit 50 free items given away in a single month and it made me rethink the whole 'free stuff' game

I just counted up my posts from April and realized I gave away 50 separate things, from a working microwave to a pile of old bricks. It matters because it shows how much perfectly good stuff gets thrown out when people could just list it. Anyone else in the Columbus area hit a number that made them stop and think?

Wait, that's 50 things given away, not thrown out. Big difference. Giving stuff a second life is the whole point.

That's a wild number. My own version of that is the weirdly specific pile of stuff in my garage that's "too good to toss" but I'm too lazy to post. Like a single snowboard binding and three left-handed golf clubs. It's a museum of good intentions.
