PSA: I thought those click-lock LVP tools were just a gimmick

Honestly, I used to just tap planks in with a scrap piece and a hammer. Tried the proper tapping block and pull bar on a job last week and it saved me from damaging like three planks on a tricky wall. What other 'specialty' tools actually work for you guys?

My last install was a 1200 square foot basement with three wonky walls. I still used a scrap of flooring and a dead-blow hammer for 90 percent of it. Those specialty tools just take up space in my bag for the one tricky corner. I only pull out the pull bar if I absolutely have to. Most of the time, a good whack with the right scrap piece does the job just fine.
