Am I the only one who thinks the 'moisture barrier over everything' rule is overkill?
Last month in Phoenix, I had a client with a bone-dry slab who still insisted I put down a full 6 mil poly sheet before the LVP. I did it, but it felt like a total waste of time and material for a house that's been sitting in 5% humidity for a decade. When do you guys actually skip the barrier, or do you always follow the book?

Oh man, I feel that. My phone warranty definitely didn't cover when I dropped it in the sink after saying "I should move that." And my car's plan was no help when the check engine light came on right after I ignored that weird noise for a week. It's like they have a sixth sense for when you've been warned.
