I thought the 'grease your seatpost' advice was just bike shop upselling
My aluminum post was stuck for months, but after a week of soaking with penetrating oil and a thin coat of marine grease on the new one, it slides perfectly. Anyone have a better anti-seize method for salty winter roads?

Ugh, seriously! I almost said no to the extra support bracket because it seemed like a scam. But my last frame bent like a week after I built it, so I caved. This one's been solid for months now, no wobble at all. I guess sometimes the upsell is actually worth it.
