Had to pick between spray foam and fiberglass for my attic on Monday
I was standing at the Home Depot in Fresno trying to decide which insulation to grab. Spray foam was $120 more but the fiberglass would take twice as long to install. I went with the spray foam and finished the whole job in 2 hours, but man the cleanup was a mess. Anyone else found a better way to handle overspray?

Stop right there. Spray foam overspray isn't really a cleanup issue if you're doing it right. You shouldn't have overspray that ends up everywhere indoors unless you're using the wrong equipment or technique. The real mess is usually the drips off the nozzle and the little bits that fly off when you're spraying near edges. For an attic job in Fresno, you probably should have gone with fiberglass anyway. Spray foam in an attic can trap moisture and cause roof deck rot if you're not careful with ventilation. I've seen folks in the Central Valley have to tear out foam that turned their rafters into sponge cake after a few wet winters.
