Saw a wild drywall patch job at the new library downtown
They used mesh tape on a corner bead that was coming loose, and you could see the bulge from across the room. Has anyone tried a better fix for a popped metal corner?

That "wavy corner look" is a classic sign. Did you ever figure out what caused it in your old place? Was it a bad mud job from the start, or did the house settling just pop it loose over time? Trying to see if it's a fixable flaw or a deeper structural thing.
