Dust control fan I doubted is pulling its weight now
I ran a 2,000 square foot basement refinish in Tacoma last month and figured a box fan with a furnace filter was enough. My helper talked me into renting one of those DM 3000 dust extractor fans for 60 bucks a day. I figured it was a waste until I checked my sanding screens after the first room, barely any dust caked on them. The air stayed clear enough that we skipped masking off the stairs entirely. Has anyone else tried one of these on a bigger job or do you just stick with the old plastic sheet setup?
