Why does nobody talk about suction hose wear on the inside?
Spent 11 days this month chasing a slow production drop on the Mississippi, swapped filters, checked the pump, even pulled the impeller. Turned out the inside of my 6-inch suction hose was worn smooth and slick, losing almost 20% of my flow that whole time. Anyone else bother inspecting hose interiors regularly or is this just me being slow?

How did you finally spot it, cut the hose open or just feel around inside with your fingers?
