Used to trace every single line twice before printing, now I just check my layers once
I switched after a senior drafter told me I was wasting half my day on stuff the plotter would make obvious anyway. Anyone else think checking lineweights on screen is less reliable than just printing a test page?

Man, I had a buddy who used to babysit his plots like a hawk. Spent hours adjusting lineweights in CAD, zooming in to pixel-level detail. Printed a test plot one day and half the hatching was invisible, the other half looked like marker blob. Plotter doesn't care what you see on screen, it just spits out whatever it feels like.
